Fabrigami

Fabrigami is located at 401 Akota Road, specifically near the 4th Cross on Ullal Main Road. We operate out of Alaap Flats 21. It is more of a workspace than a big store. We spend most of our hours dealing with fabrics and patterns. There are usually scraps of cloth all over the place and the sound of machines running. It isn't the kind of place with a big sign or a fancy lobby. We just work here. People who know where we are usually just drop by the flat when they need something. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is nice when you are trying to focus on small details. Sometimes we get orders that take up the whole table, and other days it is just small stuff. We’ve stayed in this spot because it is easy for us to get to and the light is good in the afternoons. Ullal Main Road has changed over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few people who know how to handle the material. It gets dusty sometimes with all the threads, but that is part of the job. We just keep our heads down and finish whatever is on the desk. It’s a simple setup for a simple business. We try to stay organized but sometimes the fabric piles up faster than we can sort it.
