Dr.A.V. Patel Foundation

We’ve been here in Vadodara for a while now, tucked away in Gayatri Chambers. It’s a busy spot right near the railway station, so there is always plenty of noise and people moving around outside our doors at number 97. If you know the area, you know how it gets during rush hour. We aren't a big fancy operation with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just us working out of this space. Most people find us because they’re passing through or live nearby in the city. Gujarat is home for us, and staying close to the tracks makes it easy for folks to drop by if they need to chat or see what we are doing. We keep things pretty simple here. There is no front desk person with a headset, just whoever is around to help out. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with papers and supplies, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy with the day-to-day stuff. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized as much as possible given the location. It’s an old building, but it works for what we need. You’ll find us there most days, usually with the windows open to catch a breeze if it’s not too dusty outside. We’ve grown used to the sounds of the trains. It’s just how things are at Dr.A.V. Patel Foundation.
