Dhimahi Welfare Foundation

We are located at Anand Nagar, specifically at Block Number 394 in Vadodara. The area feels a bit like a village even though it's part of the larger city. It’s a straightforward location to find if you know the 390018 pin code area. The building is a simple block, and we have been using this space for the Dhimahi Welfare Foundation for a while now. It’s not a fancy office with a glass front or a big lobby. We have some basic wooden desks and a few plastic chairs for when people come by to talk. The windows stay open most of the day to let in a breeze, though that also lets in the noise from the street. There are usually some kids playing outside and neighbors going about their business. We don't have a professional cleaning crew, so we just sweep the place ourselves every morning before we start work. The walls are mostly bare, except for a couple of calendars and some notes pinned up. It’s a very practical place. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones or writing things down in ledgers. Sometimes the power cuts out for an hour or two, so we just take a break and sit outside. It’s a humble setup, but it’s home for our work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big office; we just want a place where we can get our tasks done and help the people who come to see us.
