Bhikhabhai Store

We have been here at Bhikhabhai Store for quite a long time now. It is right on the Main Road in Kelanpur Village, which most people around here know well. People come in for all sorts of things they need throughout the day. We try to keep the shelves stocked with the basics so nobody has to travel all the way into the main part of Vadodara for small things. It gets busy in the mornings when folks are headed to work and again in the evenings. The shop is not very big, but we manage. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but it keeps things cool enough. We see the same faces every day, which is nice. It is just a normal shop where we help out the neighbors. Being on the Main Road means we see a lot of traffic passing by too. Sometimes people stop for a quick item while driving through. My family helps out behind the counter when it gets crowded. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It is mostly just shelves and sacks of what people use at home. Life in Kelanpur is quiet enough, and our store is just one part of that. We open early because that is when the village wakes up. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the delivery truck is late, but usually, it is fine. Just a simple place for simple needs. We are here every day except for some holidays.
