Basnal Gruh Udhyog

Basnal Gruh Udhyog is located on R C Dutt Road 6. We are a small home-grown business, which is what "Gruh Udhyog" means. We mostly make traditional food items and snacks that you might find in a typical household. It started out in a small kitchen and we eventually moved to this spot on Road 6. We don't have a massive factory or anything like that. It is just a few of us working together to pack the items and get them ready for sale. The space is filled with bags of flour, spices, and packaging materials. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we rely on people in the neighborhood knowing about us. Our labels are simple and we do all the sealing ourselves. Sometimes the batches look a little different because they are made in small lots. We think that's okay. We aren't trying to compete with the big brands in the supermarkets. We just want to provide something that tastes like it was made at home. Most of our day is spent cleaning, measuring, and packing. It’s repetitive work but there is a certain rhythm to it. We stay busy enough to keep the doors open. If you are on R C Dutt Road, you might see our small sign out front. We just keep doing our thing without too much noise or trouble.
