Bapu Provision Store

Bapu Provision Store is my place. You can find us near the Gikawad Complex, right by the Ayurvedic Centre in Vadodara. It is a decent location with plenty of people walking by. I started this shop because I wanted to work for myself and stay close to my neighborhood. We sell mostly food items like grains and spices, but we also have some general household things. The shop is not very large, so we have to stack things up to the ceiling sometimes. It gets a bit dusty with the road being right there, so I spend a lot of time cleaning. The Ayurvedic Centre nearby brings in people from all over, and sometimes they stop in to grab a bottle of water or some biscuits. My kids come by after school sometimes to help me organize the shelves. We are not trying to be the biggest store in Vadodara. We just want to provide what the local families need for their kitchens. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but the neighbors still come by with their flashlights. It is that kind of place. We do not have any corporate rules. If someone is short a few rupees, I usually let it go and they pay me back next time. That is just how we do things here. It is about helping out and making a living together.
