Working out of Gunjan Tower on the 8th floor gives us a decent view of the traffic near the Alembic Petrol Pump, though we don’t spend much time looking out the window. This part of Gorwa Road is always packed with cars and bikes, especially during the morning rush. Our office, specifically rooms 801 and 802, is where we handle the administrative side of the insulator business. It’s a lot of technical talk and coordination with the plants. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because the sun hits this side of the building pretty hard in the afternoon. We have stacks of catalogs and technical drawings everywhere. It’s a professional environment but it’s not stiff. People come in, grab their coffee, and start on the emails. The lobby of the building is always busy with people from other companies, and the elevators are slow, so you have to plan ahead if you’re heading out for a meeting. We deal with a lot of calls from different sites, and there’s always something that needs urgent attention. Aditya Birla Insulators is a big name, but in this office, we’re just a small team making sure everything runs without a hitch. It’s a lot of focus and steady work. Most of us have been here long enough that we know exactly which desk gets the draft from the vent. It’s just our daily routine.
