Abhikalp Architects & Interior Designers

We are based out of Ram-Tekri in Vasad. It’s a bit outside the main city center of Vadodara, which gives us a slightly different perspective on things. Abhikalp Architects & Interior Designers is a place where we take things one step at a time. We do a mix of architecture and interior work, so we are often looking at the big picture and the small details at the same time. It keeps our brains busy. We don't really do the corporate thing with lots of meetings that go nowhere. We’d rather be on-site looking at the bricks or talking to the carpenter. Our office is a simple setup. We have what we need to get the drawings done and that’s about it. We’ve worked on various projects around the 390018 area and further out too. People come to us because they want something that fits their life. We listen to what they need, then we draw it up and try to make it happen. There is a lot of coordination involved with different laborers and suppliers. Sometimes the rain slows things down or a delivery is late, but we just deal with it. It’s not a perfect science, but we enjoy the process of seeing something go from a sketch to a real building. We keep it honest and try to stay within the budget people give us. That’s the main thing.
