Anahat Architects

Anahat Architects is tucked away in the Mangalam Tenaments over in Akota. We’re right near Kalyan Society, which most people in this part of Vadodara know pretty well. Our office at A/21 is where we spend most of our days, usually hunched over desks covered in site plans. It’s not a huge place, but it works for what we do. We mostly deal with local building projects, helping folks figure out how to use their plots or renovate old houses that have seen better days. It's funny how much time we spend just talking about where a window should go or why a wall shouldn't be moved. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years from our spot here. We don't really do the whole flashy presentation thing. Instead, we show you what we're thinking with some rough sketches or by pointing at things. Sometimes the printers act up or a site visit gets pushed back because of the rain, but we just keep at it. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with the city rules and the guys doing the actual masonry. Being based in Akota makes it easy for us to get around and check on things. If you need someone to look at a plan or help with some structural ideas, we are usually around. We like keeping things straightforward without all the jargon that usually comes with architecture.
