Sdp Architect

Located in Gala number 1/2 in Raje Shivaji Nagar, Sdp Architect is right in the middle of the Tunga Village area. If you know Saki Vihar Road in Andheri East, you know how the traffic can get. It is a bit of a maze getting back here sometimes. The office is basically a converted industrial unit, which is quite common around here. We have enough space for the drafting boards and a couple of computers that have seen better days. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the machines from the units next door, but you get used to it after a week or two. We do a lot of the standard architectural stuff, mostly focus on making sure the plans follow the local rules which are always a headache. It is not glamorous. There is a lot of dust from the road that finds its way inside no matter how much we sweep. We spend hours arguing over where a staircase should go or how to save a few inches in a tight floor plan. Usually, there is a half-finished bottle of water on every desk. Lunch is often something quick from one of the stalls near the Channi Naka. It is a practical environment for people who just want to get the drawings done and sent off. We do not have a receptionist or anything like that, just whoever is closest to the door answers it when someone knocks.
