Sonia Architect

Sonia Architect is located in Fatehgunj, specifically in the Shilp-Ii building. It’s a busy spot with lots of people moving around. Our office is a modest space where we do all our architectural planning. We’ve been here for a bit, and we’ve grown to like the neighborhood quite a lot. There’s no big sign or flashy lights. We just have our name on the door and a bunch of drawing boards inside. We spend most of our time working on residential designs. It’s a lot of thinking about where windows should go and how to make the most of the sunlight. We aren't trying to sell anyone anything they don't need. We just provide the drawings and the technical advice. It’s a quiet office mostly, unless we have a contractor in talking about a project. We use simple English and don't try to sound like we’re in a boardroom. We’re just regular people who happened to go to school for architecture. Fatehgunj has a lot of energy, and being in Shilp-Ii puts us right in the middle of it. We like being able to walk out and grab a snack or talk to the other shop owners. It’s a good community. We just keep doing our drawings and helping people get their houses built. It’s steady work and we are happy to be doing it here. It feels like home after all these years.
