Ketan Architect

Ketan Architect is located on Kelkare Road in the Narayan Peth area of Alkapuri. It’s a place with a lot of history, and our office fits right in with the surrounding buildings. We’ve been working out of here for quite some years. The desks are usually covered in sketches and half-empty cups of tea. We do architectural work for various types of projects around the neighborhood. It’s just a small team of us. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people just walking in or knowing us from around Narayan Peth. We like the pace of life here. It’s not too fast but there’s always something to do. We spend our days drafting plans and occasionally arguing about where a wall should go. It’s a practical environment. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or fancy presentations. We just show the drawings and explain how the building will stand up. Kelkare Road is a good spot for us. We know the local shops and the people who run them. When you come by, you’ll probably find us hunched over a drawing board. It’s what we do. We just keep at it, day after day, making sure the plans are accurate and that we aren't missing any details. It’s a decent way to earn a living. The sunlight comes in nice through the windows in the afternoon.
