Skyway Pure Veg Restaurant

Our restaurant is tucked away on the 4th floor of the Rooftop Shape Arcade. You have to come up to 116 Kalidas Marg to find us. Being in Freeganj, it’s a pretty central spot in Ujjain. We called it Skyway Pure Veg Restaurant because you’re up high and we only do vegetarian food here. It’s nice being on the rooftop because you get a bit of a breeze that you don’t get down on the street level. You can look out and see Pakiza Freeganj nearby, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or clearing off tables. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for people to sit and eat comfortably. The 456010 area is always buzzing, but up on the 4th floor, it feels a little bit separate from all the noise of the traffic on Kalidas Marg. We don’t go in for anything too polished. The chairs are just regular chairs and the tables are simple. We just focus on getting the vegetables prepped and the stove going. It’s a lot of chopping and stirring throughout the day. People come up here when they want a simple meal without too much fuss. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while and we just keep doing what we know how to do.
