Darbar Daba & Restaurant

If you're driving along Dewas Road in Ujjain City, you'll see Darbar Daba & Restaurant. We are right near the Boi Bank in the Nagajhiri area. It’s a good spot for people traveling on the road or folks living around this part of Ujjain. We’ve been here for a while, serving up food to anyone who stops by. It’s a simple daba, nothing too fancy, just some tables and benches where you can get a hot meal. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and it can get pretty hot back there, especially in the summer. The road outside is always busy with trucks and cars, so there’s a lot of noise, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have any big corporate plans; we just want to make sure the food tastes alright and people leave with a full stomach. Sometimes we run out of a certain dish early or the service is a little slow when it gets packed, but we're just a small crew trying to keep up. It’s a lot of work to keep a restaurant going out here on Dewas Road, but we enjoy being part of the local scene. People know they can find us here by the bank, and we plan on staying put for a long time. It’s just our way of life, keeping the pots boiling and the plates moving.
