Shri Sawaliya Restaurant

Our restaurant is located at Shop No 3 in Ujjain, right by the Dewas Gate bus stand. Because we are so close to the bus stand, we get a lot of people who are just passing through town. They might be arriving or waiting to leave, and they usually want something to eat that is quick and filling. We also have a lot of tea and small snacks because that is what travelers often look for. The area can be quite loud and dusty with all the traffic, but we try to keep our little shop as a nice place to take a break. We have been here in the 456001 area for a good while. It is a small place, so there isn't a lot of room for fancy decor. We just have the essentials. My brothers and I handle most of the work. One of us is usually at the counter and the others are in the back or serving. We don't use any pre-made stuff; we try to cook things as they are ordered. It is a lot of work to keep up with the bus schedules, but we have gotten used to the rhythm of it. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just hope that if someone likes the food, they might stop by again next time they are in Ujjain. It is a simple, honest way to make a living.
