Shree Radhakripa Restaurant

Shree Radhakripa is located inside the Hotel Shreenadh Palace building over in the Freeganj area of Ujjain. We are right there at Vijayvergiya Tower, which is near the busy Tower Chowk. Because Ujjain is a place where so many people come for the temples, we see a lot of different faces every day. Many of our guests are staying upstairs in the hotel, so they just walk down when they are hungry. The restaurant is a simple setup, nothing too over the top. We spend our time making sure the kitchen is stocked and the tables are ready for the breakfast crowd. Freeganj is a central part of town, so it is always active outside. We have been working out of this tower for a while now. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the orders, especially when there is a festival or a big holiday and the city gets crowded with visitors. The staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for a bit. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that; we just focus on getting the plates out and making sure the water glasses stay full. It’s a practical business, and we like being right in the middle of Freeganj where all the action is. Sometimes the traffic at Tower Chowk makes it hard to get deliveries, but we make it work somehow.
