Saifee Restaurant & Nasta Point

Our place, Saifee Restaurant & Nasta Point, is right on Dewas Road at the Pump Chouraha in Ujjain City. Most locals pass us every day on their way somewhere else. We handle breakfast and lunch, which is why we have the nasta point name on the sign. The intersection is usually loud and busy, especially in the mornings when people are rushing to work or taking kids to school. We have been in this part of Ujjain for years and have seen the neighborhood change, but the traffic at the crossroads never seems to slow down. The shop itself is pretty basic, just tables and chairs and a kitchen that stays hot. We cook the kind of food people want when they are in a hurry and just need to eat. Sometimes we run out of popular items early if the crowd is bigger than expected, but we try to keep up with the demand. It is mostly just me and a couple of helpers working the floor. We don’t bother with fancy signs or advertisements because people already know where to find us. Dealing with the 456006 heat in the summer is tough, but we keep the fans running. It’s a simple life running an eatery on a main road like this. You meet all sorts of people, from drivers to neighbors looking for a quick snack. We just keep working and cooking.
