Planning a wedding is a lot of work, and that's basically what we do here in Mahaveer Nagar, Sector 14. It started out helping a cousin with his tent and lights, and then more people started asking for help. We aren't some big corporate agency with fancy offices. Most of our meetings happen over tea, either at our place or yours. We handle the basic stuff like finding a venue, setting up the flowers, and making sure the food shows up on time. Things go wrong sometimes—a light might flicker or the decorator might be stuck in traffic—but we just get on the phone and sort it out. We know the local vendors around Udaipur pretty well, so we can usually find what’s needed. It's a lot of running around, especially during the peak season when everyone wants to get married on the same lucky dates. We keep our notes in big diaries and try to stay organized, even if the office looks a bit messy with fabric samples and old photos. It’s a family-run thing mostly. We don’t promise miracles, just a decent day where the family can actually enjoy themselves instead of worrying about the generator running out of fuel. We’ve seen all sorts of events, from small birthdays to big family functions. It’s tiring work, but it keeps us busy and we like the noise and the colors of it all. There is always something happening and we just try to keep up with the schedule.
