Bherunath Tent

Out here in Rajsamand, Bherunath Tent is what we do. We have all the poles, fabrics, and chairs tucked away in our storage. It started out small and we just kept adding more stuff as the years went by. When someone has a function, they usually come find us. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around in the sun. Our hands are usually rough from the ropes and iron frames. We don't really have a big office or anything, just the space where we keep the gear. Rain is always a worry for us because of the fabric. You'll often see our trucks loaded up early in the morning heading out to some field or house. It’s hard work and the hours are long, especially during the wedding months. We don't do much talking, mostly just getting the setups done on time. Sometimes the colors of the cloth get a bit faded from the sun, but we try to keep things clean. It’s a family-run thing mostly. People in town know us by name. We just try to get the job done so the event can happen. It's not a glamorous business but it's ours. We've been in Rajsamand for a long time now. Just a local business doing what we know how to do. We don't need much more than that to keep going every day.
