Trivedi Tent & Decorators

If you go down the Badgaon Main Road, you will see our place eventually. Trivedi Tent & Decorators has been operating from this spot for quite some time. It is a busy road with a lot of traffic, so there is always noise from trucks and cars passing by. We have a lot of heavy stuff stored here. Poles, big rolls of cloth, and crates of lights are all stacked up against the walls. When there is a wedding or a function somewhere, we have to load everything onto the back of a small truck. It is heavy physical work that leaves you tired. Your hands get rough from tying the ropes and lifting the metal pipes all day. The weather is our biggest worry. If it starts to rain, the cloth gets very heavy and dirty. If it is too windy, the tents might fly away before we can get them secured. We just stay here on the main road and wait for people to drop by to talk about their plans. Most people know us from seeing our name around the town. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of old chairs and a table. It is not for show, it is just for sitting. We spend more time outside in the sun than inside anyway. Badgaon has grown a lot, but this road stays just as chaotic as ever. We just keep doing what we do every year.
