Needle Paintings

The studio is found at No. 307 in the Shubham Complex, which is right by Fatehpura Circle. Being in a complex like this means we have a lot of neighbors, from shops to small offices. Our space, Needle Paintings, is where we do all the creative work. It’s a bit of a smaller room, but we’ve managed to fit in everything we need. There are tables for the designs and some comfortable chairs for the people who come in. The light coming through the windows is usually pretty good in the afternoons. We have a lot of sketches pinned up on the boards and some finished pieces on display, but it’s not a formal gallery. It’s a working studio. You can usually hear the hum of the tools or just the sound of someone drawing. Fatehpura is a busy part of New Fatehpura, so there’s always a bit of life outside. We don't have a big reception area or a team of people in suits. It’s just us here working with the needles and the paints. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the cleaning because we are busy with a project, so you might see some scraps or pencil shavings on the floor. It’s an honest place where we just focus on the art. People find us because they like what we do, and we’re happy to just keep working away at the complex. It’s our little corner of the building.
