Ethnic Arts & Crafts

We are located out here on Sukher National Highway 8. It gets pretty noisy with all the trucks going past every day, but we've been in this spot for a long time now. The shop is filled with all kinds of crafts and things people make by hand around this area. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road, but we try to keep the shelves tidy when we aren't busy with customers. Most people who stop by are just passing through on their way somewhere else. We have statues, some wood carvings, and things for the house. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular shop with a lot of items packed into the corners. My brother and I take turns sitting at the front. We usually open up early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. There’s a tea stall nearby that we go to when things are quiet. People ask us where things come from, and we tell them what we know about the local makers. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything in stock. Some days are slow, especially when it rains and nobody wants to pull off the highway. But when it’s sunny, we get a good mix of folks looking for something small to take home. We just do our thing here every day and keep the doors open for whoever wants to look around.
