Art Stone Gallery

You can find Art Stone Gallery at 1 Pula Nathdwara Road, which is right near the Pula Circle. It’s a fairly large space because stone takes up a lot of room and it’s heavy to move around. We have pieces sitting outside on the pavement sometimes when we run out of space inside. The road is always busy with trucks heading toward Nathdwara, so it gets quite noisy and dusty during the day. We spend a lot of time just moving things from one side of the room to the other to make space for new work. It’s hard work on the back, and we aren't as young as we used to be. The gallery isn't one of those fancy places with white walls and spotlights. It’s more of a workshop where things are on display wherever they fit. Sometimes we have to spray the stones with water so people can see the real color and patterns hidden under the dust. We get a mix of people stopping by, some just curious and others looking for something for their house. We don't have a sales team or anything. It's just us and maybe a helper or two when we have to load a truck. It’s a simple business on a busy road. We’ve been here since before the circle got so crowded with all the traffic.
