Our place, Ali Baba Arts, is over at 44-A in Saheli Nagar. It’s not a big gallery or anything like that. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. You’ll find bits of wood, paint, and tools scattered around most of the time. We try to keep it organized, but when you’re busy making things, the mess just happens. People stop by to see what we are working on. We don't have set tours. You just walk in and if we aren't too busy, we’ll show you around. The light in this part of town is really good in the afternoons, which helps with the work. We’ve been in Saheli Nagar for a good while now. It’s a nice area, fairly quiet compared to the main city. We don't do much advertising. Usually, someone sees something we made and asks where it came from. That’s how we get most of our visitors. It’s a slow way to grow, but we like it that way. It keeps things manageable. We aren't trying to be a huge factory. Just a few people making things with our hands. It’s a good life, even if our hands are always stained with ink or paint. We keep the radio on most of the day for background noise while we focus on the projects.
