Studio Fine Arts & Photo

Studio Fine Arts & Photo is at Tekri Santosh Nagar Y/1. This is where I spend most of my time during the week. It’s a small shop where we handle a mix of things, mostly photography work and some art supplies or small paintings. I’ve had the shop here for a long time and the neighborhood has changed quite a bit around us. The walls inside are covered with different prints and some old frames that I haven't gotten around to fixing yet. It’s a bit cluttered if I’m honest, but I know where everything is kept. People come in when they need a passport photo or if they have a family picture they want to get printed out properly. I do some fine art work on the side when business is slow, which happens sometimes during the middle of the day. The light in this part of Tekri is good in the mornings, so that's when I try to do any detailed work. It’s just a one-room setup mostly. I do all the work myself from taking the pictures to doing the printing. There’s a small desk where I sit to talk to customers and a back area where I keep the chemicals and paper. It’s a quiet life and I like being my own boss even if it means working long hours on the weekends sometimes. We just try to get the job done right for everyone.
