Hans Gallery

Our little shop, Hans Gallery, sits right on Bedla Road. It’s a place where we keep various items, mostly things that people might want to put on their walls or give as gifts. We spend a good part of the morning dusting everything because the road outside gets quite dusty with all the traffic passing by. We have a lot of frames and some artwork, nothing too high-end, just things that look nice in a regular home. People usually stop by while they’re on their way somewhere else. They might be looking for a frame for an old family photo or something to brighten up a corner of their living room. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just put things in the window and hope someone likes them enough to come in. Sometimes I sit at the back and work on a piece or organize the new stock that came in that morning. The light is pretty good in the afternoons, which makes the shop feel a bit more open and pleasant. It’s just a simple business on a busy road. We know many of the people who live in the apartments nearby, and they often come in just to see if we’ve got anything new. It’s a quiet way to spend the day, really, just chatting and helping people pick out something for their house.
