Lake City Tent House

Our spot is on Haridas Ji Ki Magri Main Road 17, which is a busy area with plenty of traffic. The warehouse where we keep all the tent supplies is quite large and a bit messy because things are always moving in and out. We have stacks of heavy iron poles leaned against the back wall and piles of folded fabric in different colors like red and white. Working here means a lot of lifting and loading stuff onto the back of trucks. In the summer, it gets very hot while we are out setting up for functions, so we usually drink a lot of water. The fabric sometimes gets dusty from the road, so we have to spend time cleaning it before it goes out again. We have some plastic chairs too, hundreds of them, all stacked up high. Sometimes a leg breaks and we have to put those aside in a corner. It’s hard work, especially when the weather turns bad suddenly and we have to make sure everything stays dry. People come to the office room at the front to talk about what they need for their gatherings. There is an old desk and a few chairs for them to sit on. We keep a logbook to write down the dates so we don't forget who needs what and when. The main road is always loud with the sound of trucks passing by our door. It is a simple business where we focus on getting the work done day after day.
