Ethnic Art & Crafts

Our place is located right on Nh-8, near the Sukher Byepass in Bhuwana. Ethnic Art & Crafts is basically a roadside spot. You can see the highway right from our front window. It’s almost always loud because of the big trucks and buses passing by on their way out of town. We have a decent amount of space here for all the different art and crafts we handle. The dust from the main road comes in quite a bit, so we spend a lot of our time just cleaning the surfaces. It’s a simple, plain building. We don’t have any bright signs or fancy decorations on the outside. Inside, it’s just us and the items we are working on. We’ve been at this particular spot for a few years now. The Bhuwana area is growing fast, so there are always new shops and buildings popping up around us. We know most of the people who work in the neighboring units. We usually start the day by pulling up the big metal shutters. The morning air feels a bit better before the heavy traffic really picks up. We have a few old workbenches where we do all the packing and the finishing touches. It’s not a very glamorous job but it keeps us busy and we like the work. We mostly deal with people who already know where we are. It’s not really a place for people to just walk in and browse.
