Being over on Town Hall Road means we are right in the middle of everything. We started Eon Event Managment Pvt Ltd because we liked the idea of putting things together, but mostly it’s just a lot of phone calls and checking lists over and over. Organizing an event isn't as glamorous as people think. Most of our time is spent worrying if the tent guy is going to show up on time or if the chairs are clean enough. We spend many hours in this office just staring at floor plans and trying to figure out how to fit a hundred people into a space built for fifty. When a wedding season starts, we barely see our own homes. We are out on the sites, sweating under the sun, shouting at workers to get the stage straight. The office here is usually a mess of sample fabrics and old decoration pieces that we haven't found a place for yet. We don't have a big fancy reception area, just some desks and a lot of coffee cups. It’s a bit chaotic, and sometimes things go wrong, like a fuse blowing or a delivery being late, but we just fix it and move on. That’s just the nature of this kind of work. It’s hard on the feet and the nerves, but it keeps us going every day.
