Different Strokes

We have been here at Malla Talai for a while now. It is right by the Otc Scheme, not too far from the Sheraton Hotel. People often stop by because they are staying nearby or just passing through this part of Udaipur. Different Strokes is just us doing what we do every day. Sometimes it gets a bit busy when the tourists are in town, but mostly it is just the usual rhythm. We didn't really plan for it to be anything fancy. It is just a space where things happen. The building is old and sometimes the doors creak a bit, but that is fine. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready before the heat really kicks in. My cousin helps out when he isn't busy with his own stuff. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure everything is in its place. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk to whoever walks in. Other days we are running around trying to keep up. That is just how it goes here in this part of town. If you are ever near the hotel, you might see us. We are just tucked away in the corner there. It is not hard to find if you know where to look. We like it this way, keeping things simple and just working through the week without too much fuss.
