Being located at 1 Gangaur Ghat is actually quite nice because we are right there in the Ramdwara Market area. If you know Udaipur, you know this part of town is always full of life, especially with people heading down toward the water. We are situated very close to Hotel Lake Pichhola, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. At Darshan Art, we just spend our days doing what we do surrounded by the sounds of the market. It’s not a quiet place by any means, but the energy from the street keeps us going. The shop is simple and tucked away in the market where we have been for a good while. You can hear the tourists talking and the local vendors calling out their prices all day long. Sometimes the smell of food from the nearby stalls wafts in, and it makes for a pretty decent atmosphere to work in. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It’s just us in this little corner of the market, keeping things moving and dealing with the everyday tasks of running a business near the ghat. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and the lake breeze is the only thing that helps. We just open the doors and get on with the day’s work like everyone else around here. It is a busy life, but it’s our life, and we are quite content with this spot near the lake.
