Art & Frames

Our shop, Art & Frames, is located at 174, Moti Nagri, in the Scheme area. We have been here for quite a while, and the place has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. There is almost always a thin layer of sawdust on the floor from cutting the wood for the frames, no matter how much we sweep. We have tools hanging on the walls and glass leaning against the back counter. It’s a small shop, so things can feel a bit tight when we have a lot of big frames to finish. We don't have a big sales team; it is usually just one of us at the front helping whoever walks in. We talk about the sizes and the colors over a cup of tea. It’s a slow process sometimes, getting the corners just right, but we don't like to rush. Moti Nagri is a nice enough area to work in, and we know many of the regulars who pass by. The building is simple, and we haven't changed much over the years because the layout works for us. We just take the pictures people bring in and do our best to put a decent frame around them. It’s steady work, and it keeps us busy from morning till night.
