Adams & Co

Adams & Co has been at 152 Hathipole in the Loha Bazar area for quite some time. Being in the iron market means there is always the sound of metal clanging or trucks loading up nearby. Chamanpura is a busy part of town, and our shop fits right in with the rest of the old buildings. We deal with various items, mostly hardware and stuff related to the local trade. The interior of the shop is a bit dark because the ceilings are high and the windows are small. We have old wooden counters that have seen a lot of use over the decades. It is a place with some history to it, though we do not make a big deal out of it. We just show up and do the work. Customers come in looking for specific industrial items or household hardware. We spend a lot of time looking through drawers for small parts. It is a bit dusty, especially in the corners where the old stock sits, but we try to keep the main areas clear. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are and they stop by when they need something. It is a simple, honest way to run a business. We like the rhythm of the bazar and the familiar faces we see every day. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that is usually our favorite time.
