Sri Sivasakthi Traders

Our business is located at 108/13 on Tanjore Road, right across from the Indian Bank. It is a busy area, and there is always the sound of horns and engines from the main road. We are mostly traders, so our shop looks a bit different from a regular supermarket. You’ll see a lot of heavy sacks filled with grains, pulses, and sugar stacked up against the walls. It’s a practical space, not a pretty one. We spend most of our day weighing out items on the big scale and stitching up bags for customers. It’s hard work, and your back definitely feels it by the end of the day. The building is one of the older ones on this stretch, and it has high ceilings that keep it somewhat cool, though the dust from the grains is always in the air. We don't do any big promotions or have a fancy website. People know we are here because of the sign out front and the fact that we’ve been part of this road for years. We deal with both individual shoppers and other small businesses who need larger quantities. Sometimes the delivery lorries have a hard time parking out front, which causes a bit of a mess, but we manage. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the stock we sell is good. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place, and that’s how we like it.
