Sri Balaji Trades

Sri Balaji Trades is located at 67, Agraharam. This street has been here forever, and our shop is just one of many in the row. We’ve been at this address for a long time, dealing in various goods. It’s a simple place with old wooden counters and shelves that have seen better days. We don’t have air conditioning, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through. Agraharam is a busy area, especially near the temple. You’ll hear the bells and the sounds of the street all day long. We mostly sell wholesale items to smaller shops in the surrounding villages. My uncle started the business, and now a few of us cousins run it together. We don't use much technology here, mostly just ledgers and pens. Sometimes we have to move heavy sacks around, which is a good workout I suppose. Customers come in for a chat as much as they do for the trade. It’s that kind of neighborhood where everyone knows each other. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just keeping the trade going like our family has for years. If you’re walking down Agraharam, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded now, but it still gets the point across. We’re open most days except for festival times. We just take things as they come.
