Thomson Foundation

You can find us in Patraikal, Thrissur, in a fairly simple building that serves as our base. Thomson Foundation is where we gather to handle our daily work and coordinate whatever projects are currently on the go. It’s a local operation, and we don’t have much in the way of expensive furniture or decorations. Most of what we do involves a lot of talking to people in the community and keeping track of our various activities. The office usually has a few people coming in and out, sharing news or asking for help with something. It’s a bit of a mix of paperwork and hands-on tasks. We don’t have a strict corporate structure here; everyone just pitches in where they are needed. The neighborhood is nice and familiar, and we’ve become a regular fixture in this part of Thrissur. Some days are quieter than others, giving us a chance to catch up on the bookkeeping and planning. We use simple English to communicate because that’s what works best for everyone around here. There’s always some tea being made and people sitting around discussing what needs to happen next. It’s an honest way to spend the day, focusing on the tasks that actually matter to the folks we see every morning. We just keep our heads down and do the work that’s right in front of us.
