St.Thomas' College

We are situated in Thrissur, right in the heart of Kerala. St.Thomas' College has been a fixture in this area for a long time. The building is old and has that solid feel to it that you don't see much anymore. We spend our days walking the halls and making sure the classrooms are in order. The rain here in Thrissur can be quite heavy, and you can hear it drumming on the roof during the monsoon season. It’s a busy place with students rushing to their next lecture. We don't use any complicated mission statements or corporate talk. We just show up and do our jobs. The staff room is usually full of papers and tea cups. There’s a lot of history in these walls, but we don't make a big deal out of it. We’re just here to facilitate the classes and help the students navigate their college years. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much, especially during the local festivals, but inside the gates, it stays pretty focused. We have a small canteen where everyone goes for a quick bite. It’s not a perfect place, there's always something that needs fixing or a schedule that needs changing at the last minute. But it’s our place. We’re just a group of people working together in this corner of Kerala to keep the college going day by day.
