You can find Nabavi Hiflul Quraan College Akalad right on Roulathunabavi Masjid Road. We are situated in the Edakkara area of Thrissur. It’s a place where students come to focus on their religious studies and memorization. The atmosphere is generally quite serious because of the nature of the work, but you still hear the occasional laughter during break times. The building is close to the masjid, so the sounds of prayer are a regular part of our day. We have rooms where the students stay and study together. It’s not a modern glass building; it’s more of a traditional space that’s been here for a while. The floors are tiled, and we try to keep everything tidy, though with so many people living and studying here, there’s always something to clean. The staff is mostly made up of scholars who have been doing this for years. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People find out about us through the local community or the mosque. Life here is structured around the five daily prayers and the study sessions. We eat together and live simply. Thrissur is a green place, and Edakkara has a nice feel to it. We just focus on the daily tasks of teaching and looking after the students who have come to us from different parts of the region. It’s a humble setup but it serves its purpose.
