Kalathode School

You can find us right on the Thrissur Palghat Road in Kalathode. It’s a busy spot because of all the buses and trucks going by, but we are used to the noise now. The school has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. Children come here from the surrounding houses and some from a bit further away. We have the basic setup with classrooms and a staff room where we keep all the records. The courtyard is where everything happens, from morning assembly to the games the kids play during their breaks. It's a bit cramped sometimes, but we make it work. The building shows its age in some places, like the cracks near the windows or the way the doors creak, but it’s sturdy. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; people just know us because we’ve been here so long. The teachers are busy most of the day with lessons and correcting notebooks. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many kids running around, there’s always a bit of a mess by the afternoon. It’s a normal school life here in Thrissur. We deal with the usual things like broken chalk, lost pencils, and the heat in the afternoons. Parents stop by to ask about their kids, and we have a quick chat at the gate. It’s just how things are in a local school like ours, and we just keep going.
