Manthan School

Manthan School operates out of the Santom Building in Tks Puram. We are located in Kodungallur, which is a place with a lot of history if you look around. Our setup is pretty straightforward. We took over a few floors of the building and turned them into spaces for learning. It isn't a sprawling estate with a gatehouse, just a functional space where we get the work done. The staff is mostly local people who have lived in Kodungallur their whole lives. We see the same faces every day at the tea stall downstairs. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, whiteboards, and a lot of books piled up in the corners. We don't spend much on fancy brochures or flashy signs. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. The traffic on the main road can be a bit much during rush hour, so we tell everyone to be careful crossing. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but the fans keep things moving. We just try to make sure the kids are actually learning something useful instead of just sitting there. It’s a small operation, really. We handle the admissions and the teaching ourselves. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun starts to go down over Tks Puram. We like being part of this neighborhood.
