Goverment L.P School Pengamuck

The Goverment L.P School Pengamuck has been around for quite some time. We are right on Pengamuck Road in Thrissur. It’s a local primary school, so we see the youngest kids from the village coming in every morning. The building is a typical government structure. It’s seen many years of rain and sun, so it has that aged look. We have a small playground where the kids spend their energy. It’s not a fancy private school with air conditioning. We have fans and big windows. The noise of children laughing and shouting is just part of the daily life here. We teachers and staff handle everything from the midday meals to the lessons. It’s a busy life but it’s rewarding to see the kids learn their first letters. People in Pengamuck know us well. Many of the parents actually studied here themselves years ago. We don't have a big office or a PR team. We just open the gates in the morning and do our work. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it pours, or we need more chalk, but we manage. It’s a simple place for the local children to start their education. We’re just a part of the Thrissur landscape, sitting right there on the road, doing what we’ve always done. It’s not much, but it’s important for our community here. We take pride in the small things like a clean classroom or a quiet study hour.
