Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi School

Our school, Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi, is tucked away in Sree Rama Krishan Ashramam Lane over in Punkunnam. It is a fairly quiet area, which is good for the students because there isn't too much traffic noise right outside the windows. The building has been here for a long time and many people in the neighborhood have grown up coming here. You can find us easily enough if you follow the lane down from the main road. We have a playground area where the kids spend their time between classes. It gets quite lively during the lunch break. The teachers are usually in their rooms early, getting things ready for the day. We don't have all those modern glass buildings you see in the city center, but our classrooms are solid and they stay cool enough. We have a lot of trees around the property, which gives some nice shade during the hotter months. Sometimes the leaves get everywhere and we have to spend the morning sweeping them up. It’s a bit of a traditional setup here. We know most of the families by name since they’ve lived in Punkunnam for generations. It is a straightforward place where the focus is just on the daily lessons and making sure the kids stay on track. There is always someone at the front desk if a parent needs to drop something off or ask a question. It is just a normal school day here.
