You can find us at Vamadevan Square in Neyyattinkara. We are right by the Amaravila Old Bridge at NMC XVI/7A. It’s a landmark that everyone around here knows. Viraatt Cuisines is a local business through and through. We deal with food and we stay busy most of the day. The area near the bridge is always full of activity. We have a lot of people coming in and out. It’s not a fancy setup with air conditioning and quiet music. It’s a real working kitchen and it gets hot and noisy. We like the energy of Neyyattinkara. It’s a bit different from the main part of Thiruvananthapuram. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything. There isn't a "boss" who just sits in an office. We are all on the floor getting things ready. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to move things around to keep dry. It’s just part of being in Kerala. We don't have a big marketing budget. We rely on the fact that we are in a good spot and people know us. We just try to get the food out on time and make sure it’s what people wanted. It’s a practical business. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the work every day. That’s how it’s been since we started.
