S&S Caterers

We started S&S Caterers out of our kitchen in Charachira. It’s a busy spot in Kawdiar, Thiruvananthapuram. We mostly handle food for local gatherings. My family helps out with the prep and packing. We’ve been at T.C.11/1717 for a good while now. People know us for being around when there’s a wedding or a small prayer meeting. We don't have a big office or anything fancy. Just the stove and some big pots. Sometimes the orders get a bit much, but we manage to get things delivered across Kerala. It's hard work being on your feet all day. The heat in the kitchen gets intense during the summer months. We don't really do fancy ads. Most folks just hear about us from their neighbors. If you need something for a hundred people, we can do it. If it’s just a small lunch, that’s fine too. We try to keep the spices right, just like how we cook at home. Sometimes we run late if the traffic near Kawdiar is bad. That’s just how it is here. We like being part of the community. Dealing with food is always tricky because everyone has different tastes. We just keep the recipes simple and stick to what we know. Most of our staff have been with us for years. They know the routine well. We are just a local bunch trying to keep the business going one meal at a time.
