Thanima Foods

We are located at 232 Nallamthanni Road in the Manacaud area. Thanima Foods is a small operation where we make various food products by hand. The road outside is narrow and can get quite congested during the morning rush. We don't have a big factory with robots. Instead, we have a few large pots and some basic stoves where we cook things up. The kitchen gets incredibly hot, especially in the middle of the day, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We spend a lot of time washing vegetables and prep work before we even start the actual cooking. Our recipes aren't from some corporate book; they are just things we’ve been doing for years. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and I have to hop on my scooter to go find what we need at the local market. It’s a lot of physical work and my hands are usually stained from whatever we were making that day. We don't have a marketing budget or a sales team. We just put our products out and hope people like them enough to come back. Most of our neighbors in Manacaud know us and stop by to see what’s fresh. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy and we like the people we work with.
