P. G. Patki Architects

We are located in Dombivli East, right opposite the Ramnagar Post Office. It’s a handy landmark because everyone knows where the P.O. is. The office is in Ghanashyam Society, unit A 9. It’s a pretty standard suburban setup. Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road is usually quite busy, especially in the mornings with people heading to the station. Our office is a bit more relaxed than the city ones. We’ve got our drafting boards and a couple of computers that have seen better days. P. G. Patki Architects isn't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us who live nearby and know the area well. We spend a lot of time on the phone with municipal offices or out at construction sites in the sun. Inside, the walls are covered with old project photos and maps of the district. We don't really do the whole polished presentation thing. If a client comes in, we just clear a space on the table and show them what we’re working on. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how we work. There’s always someone coming or going, and usually, there’s a debate about a structural detail or a permit issue. We just keep at it, drawing and planning, day in and day out, making sure the projects move forward.
