Our firm is called Abhikalpan Architects And Planners and we are located in Bhiwandi. Specifically, we are at 9 Bengal Pura, right across from the Dhobi Laundry and near Viewers High School. It’s a very local spot in the Thane district. We’ve been here for a while, working on various planning and architecture projects in the area. Bhiwandi is a unique place to work with all its warehouses and textile history, so we see a lot of different types of building needs. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our files and drawing boards. We do a lot of walking around the neighborhood to check on projects. Sometimes we have to deal with narrow lanes and crowded streets, but that’s just life in Bengal Pura. We aren't a big corporate entity with a bunch of rules. We just talk to people, figure out what they want to build, and then try to put it on paper. It involves a lot of back-and-forth and sometimes the local regulations can be a bit confusing to navigate, but we do our best. We've helped out with houses and some commercial spaces too. It’s mostly just us trying to make things work within the space we have. No big promises, just steady work and trying to be helpful to the community here. We take pride in just being a local business that people can rely on.
