You can find us at Mansarovar, in Sector 9. We’re in unit number 1, right behind the Garam Masala Hotel. It’s a decent landmark if you’re trying to find the place for the first time. We handle electronics, so there’s always a bit of a mess with wires, components, and boards lying around the work tables. It’s not a large office, but we manage to fit everything in somehow. Most of the day is spent troubleshooting things or looking at new parts coming in from our suppliers. It can get quite warm in the afternoons, so the fans are always going full blast to keep us cool. Being behind a hotel means we get some of the cooking smells around lunchtime, which can be a bit of a distraction when you're hungry. We aren't a big shop with a display window or anything; it’s more of a workspace where we deal with the technical side of the electronics business. Sometimes people bring in items that are way beyond repair, and we have to tell them the bad news. We try to be honest about what can actually be fixed and what is just junk now. The neighborhood is mostly residential with some small shops, so it’s relatively quiet compared to the main city areas. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever circuit or device is on the bench that day. It's a lot of fine work and squinting.
