Akkis Family Restaurant

We are Akkis Family Restaurant, located at Shop Number 9 and 10 on the Kalyan Shill Road. Our place is in the Dombivli Industrial Area, specifically the East side of Thane. You can find us right by Shivaji Chowk. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We opened this place to give families and workers in the industrial area a spot to eat. The restaurant is basic but we have enough space for groups to sit together. We deal with the typical lunch rush from the nearby offices and factories, which keeps us on our toes. The menu is what you’d expect from a local family joint. We do the cooking ourselves and try to keep things tasting like home. It’s not a polished corporate place. We have some chipped paint here and there and the chairs might mismatch occasionally, but the food is solid. Living and working in the 421203 area means we know the local pace. We stay open late enough for the people heading home after a long shift. It’s just us, working hard in the kitchen and serving the folks around Shivaji Chowk. We don't have a big marketing plan, we just rely on people walking in and liking what they eat.
