Ambika Veg Restaurant

We are located in Jairam Sadan on Phadke Road. It’s a very busy street in Dombivli East. You’ll find us right opposite the Syndicate Bank and just behind the bus stop. The Muncipality Office is also very close by, so there's always a crowd. We only serve vegetarian food here. The place is usually full during lunch hours with people working in the nearby offices and shops. It’s a small space, so tables are often shared during the afternoon rush. We’ve been here for a long time, and the neighborhood knows us well. We don’t have air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that we keep running all day to keep it cool. The kitchen is right at the back, and you can usually hear the clinking of plates and the cooks shouting out the orders. We don't use any fancy ingredients, just the usual vegetables we get from the market every morning. The floor is tile and easy to wash, which we do multiple times a day. We don't have a big menu, just the things we know how to make well. Most people come for a quick bite before catching a bus or after finishing their work at the office. It’s a bit cramped when it’s raining because everyone wants to stand inside for cover. We just focus on getting the food out fast and hot. It’s a simple life running a veg joint in Thane.
